Here are the latest product recalls for this month:
Perdue Foods LLC, Recalls Chicken Nuggets Due to Foreign Matter Contamination
-Perdue Foods LLC, is recalling approximately 4,530 pounds of chicken nugget products that may be contaminated with extraneous plastic materials. The Applegate Naturals Chicken Nuggets were produced on September 28, 2015. The following products are subject to recall: 8 ox. boxed packages containing 18 pieces of “Applegate Naturals Chicken Nuggets” with Best Before Date 09/27/16.
Nestle USA Inc. Recalls Chicken Pizza And Chicken Lasagna Products
– Nestle USA Inc. is recalling approximately 267,024 pounds of chicken pizza products, produced at its Little Chute, WI establishment, and chicken lasagna products, produced at its Springville, UT establishment that may be contaminated with pieces of glass.
Tuna Recall Widens
– Bumble Bee and Chicken of the Sea have recalled 31,579 and 2,745 cases of canned tuna respectively. The tuna recalls aren’t over yet. The grocery chain H-E-B is recalling 10,752 cans of Hill Country Fare tuna due to malfunctioning equipment which may have undercooked the fish.
Hyundai Santa Fe Recall
– Hyundai Motor American is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 Santa Fe vehicles manufactured September 1, 2015 to February 12, 2016. In the affected vehicles, the wires in the front seat belt buckle harnesses may be damaged by the seat’s height adjuster mechanism, resulting in a failure to provide an audible warning when front seat occupants do not fasten their seat belts. Without warning to remind the front seat occupants, they may forget to buckle their seat belt, increasing their risk of injury in the event of a crash.
2014 Nissan Rogue Recall
– Nissan North America, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2014 Nissan Rogue vehicles manufactured July 25, 2013, to December 21, 2013, and February 1, 2014, to June 7, 2014. Improper nickel plating of components within the fuel pump may result in the fuel pump failing. If the fuel pump fails, teh vehicle may stall without warning, increasing the risk of a crash.
