If you were hurt in a crash, Florida ties your own accident coverage to that one deadline. It is gone entirely once it passes, whatever the injury turns out to be.

What happens, and what to have to hand
Nothing, is the short answer on paperwork. A crash report number, photographs or your own declarations page save time. If you have none of it, call anyway: most of what a case needs we obtain ourselves, and what goes wrong early is almost never about paperwork.
- 1 A person answers Not a menu and not a queue. During office hours we put you through to an attorney.
- 2 You tell us what happened Ask whatever you want. An attorney answers, rather than an intake script reading off a screen.
- 3 You get a straight answer What Florida law does with your facts. If there is no claim worth bringing we will say so, and that costs nothing either.
Camera footage from the business on the corner, and the vehicle before it is repaired, are both routinely gone inside two weeks of the crash.
You are required to cooperate with your own insurer. You are not required to give the other driver's insurer a recorded statement, and that request usually arrives early, while you are still on medication and before anybody knows how serious the injury is. It is worth a phone call to us before that conversation, not after.
Who you get when you call
During office hours we put an attorney on the phone with you, and it is one of the attorneys in this photograph. You get their experience and their judgment on your first call, at no cost.
If all of them are in court, we take your number rather than take your case history, and one of them calls you back the same day.
