Accessibility statement
We want anyone who has been hurt to be able to reach a lawyer, whatever they use to browse the web. This page says what we build to, what is on the site to help, and how to tell us when something does not work.
The standard we work to
This site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act. We believe the site substantially conforms. We do not claim it is perfect: content is added over time, and some material comes from third parties whose code we do not control.
What that means in practice
- Text and background colors are tested to meet the AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text.
- Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, and the element you are on is always visibly focused.
- Images that carry meaning have alt text. Images that are decoration are hidden from screen readers rather than described.
- Headings run in order without skipping levels, so a screen reader can be used to navigate the page structure.
- Phone numbers are live text, never pictures of text.
- Form fields have real labels, not placeholder text standing in for one.
- Animation is suppressed for anyone whose system asks to reduce motion.
- Layouts are tested down to a 375 pixel screen and at 200% zoom.
The accessibility tools on this site
The button in the bottom corner of every page opens a settings panel. Your choices are saved in your browser and stay on as you move between pages. It offers:
- Four text sizes
- High contrast and inverted color modes
- Grayscale
- Underlined and highlighted links
- A more readable typeface
- Paused animation
- A larger cursor
- A stronger focus outline
These settings are ours and run entirely in your browser. Nothing about how you use them is sent anywhere or recorded.
Known limitations
Embedded maps and any third-party review or chat widget are supplied by outside companies. We choose accessible options where a choice exists, but we cannot rewrite their code. If one of them blocks you, tell us and we will give you the same information another way.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this site is hard to use, we want to hear about it, and we will help you get what you needed in the meantime. Call 954-522-5800 during office hours, or email info@wolfandpravato.com. Tell us the page and what happened. We aim to reply within two business days.
You can also ask for anything on this site by phone. Nothing here is available only online.
Speak to a lawyer
A lawyer will take your call and tell you honestly whether you have a case worth bringing.
