Grassfields Cheese Recall Affects Select Whole Foods Market Locations In response to Grassfields Cheese LLC’s organic cheese recall, Whole Foods Market is voluntarily recalling the product from select stores in the Midwest and South out of an abundance of caution. Grassfields Cheese issued the recall due to possible contamination with Shiga toxin-producing E. coli, a bacteria that can cause serious illness in humans.
Al Shabrawy Meat Inc. Recalls Meat and Poultry Products Al Shabrawy Meat Inc., a South River, N.J. establishment, is recalling an undetermined amount of meat and poultry products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. Some of the products contain pistachio nut and soy, known allergens, which are not declared on the product label.
The beef bologna, beef salami, mortadella and other sausage-like items were produced on various dates between Jan. 1, 2015 and Aug. 4, 2016.
Ford Recalls 830K Vehicles to Repair Faulty Door Latches Ford is recalling about 830,000 vehicles in the U.S. and Mexico because parts in the side door latches can break and the doors can open while the vehicles are moving.The recall announced Thursday covers certain 2013 to 2015 Ford Escape SUVs and C-Max cars, and 2012 to 2015 Focus cars. Also included are 2014 to 2016 Ford Transit Connect vans, and Ford Mustang sports cars and Lincoln MKC SUVs from 2015.
John Deere Recalls Lawn and Garden Tractors for RepairJohn Deere is recalling 5,500 lawn and garden tractors for a repair because a blade could injure bystanders when the tractor is in reverse, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The recall was placed Aug. 4, 2016. This recall is for John Deere models X710, X730,X734,X738 and X739 lawn and garden tractors with serial numbers beginning with 1M0X. Model numbers can be found on both sides of the engine hood. The serial number can be found on the right side, below the foot rest. No injuries have been reported to CPSC.
Jaguar Land Rover Recalls 54,000 Vehicles with Takata AirbagsJaguar Land Rover is recalling 54,000 vehicles in the U.S. in the latest round of Takata airbag recalls. The recall breaks down to 20,000 Jaguar XF sedans and 34,000 Range Rovers for frontal passenger airbag inflators that may rupture. The first phase of the recall covers certain 2009-11 Jaguar XF models and certain 2007-11 Land Rover Range Rovers that are currently, or have ever been, registered in “Zone A”: Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Texas. The recall also covers vehicles in Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
